Tidings seem to only be offered at Christmas, and far be it for me to not stand by tradition…
Good tidings to Joe Gibbs. Last night he showed once again why he is a legendary coach, how he has the ability to hold a team together like no one I have ever seen and his character is above reproach.
Good tidings to MawMaw and Marmee. My mother in law and my grandmother in law are awesome cooks and they have had my wife in the kitchen for two days cooking up a storm. Christmas miracles indeed!
Good tidings of joy to generosity of spirit. It is nice to see the best of people, at least once a year. In my life I get to see the best of people quite often and this Christmas has been no different.
Good tidings of rest to weary students. Take time to sleep, read for pleasure and veg out because January is coming soon.
Good tidings of Wii to all those who have one waiting under the tree. The Wii has already been worth every penny I spent on it. Watching my daughter and her grandparents bowl is priceless. Plus, I am getting pretty good and can finally out bowl the neighbor kid who is 4.
Good tidings of comfort to all those who mourn this season. It has been a dark year in many ways. May we all be reminded that the light of Christ is shining forth in the darkness and the darkness will not overcome it.
Finally good tidings of blessings and love to all of you who continually indulge my hobbies and joys by reading this blog, listening to my podcasts, or being my friends. It is good to be loved.
Merry Christmas everyone!
